How to become a sworn translator?

Dear colleague,
In case you wish to collaborate with Translation Services Skrivanek as sworn translator, you have to keep in mind the following requirements of Department “Consular Relations” of the Ministry of External Affairs of Republic of Bulgaria.

Required documents:

• The original declaration for the responsibility for the translation with a notary certification of the signature. In it has to be filled in the personal data of the translator, address, number and type of the document for language education, and the company s/he works for. In the end of the declaration there has to be a paragraph, saying: “I declare that the translations executed by me will be signed in the following way…………..”.

• A copy of the document for language qualification for each language
• A copy of the document for completed higher education (with GPA no less than Good 4.00 - on a six-point grading scale)
• Copies of all documents, certifying for language qualification – specializations, second major, internationally acknowledged certificate, high-school diploma (with GPA no less than V.Good 4.50)
